One-hour private driving lessons are available Monday through Saturday from 6:00 a.m. through early evening hours. An instructor will pick you up and drop you off at the location of your choice.

Our cars are air-conditioned and equipped with dual brakes. Students who have a license and desire to learn on their own manual transmission vehicle are also welcome.

Road Test Accompaniment *ONLY

Did you know we can accompany you to the road test site? Our service includes pick-up and return after the test, a review lesson, and the use of our vehicle for the actual road test. Please call our office and speak with Pam to arrange a road test date and the accompaniment service.

Cost is based on accompaniment to the Schenectady testing site. A surcharge may be applicable for other test locations.

Road Test Tips:

• Vehicle inspection and registration must be up-to-date
• Photo permit and Five-Hour Course Completion Certificate is required
• If you are under 18 you must bring a signed MV-262
• Accompanying driver must bring their license and be 21 years of age
• Arrive a few minutes earlier than the scheduled time of test

If we, as the coach, do not believe the applicant is ready to safely take their road test in our vehicle, we will inform at our discretion.

Reviewing NYS driving regulations and defensive driving techniques can help reduce your risk of a crash. In addition, principal operators of a motor vehicle who complete this course are eligible to receive a ten percent insurance reduction on liability, collision, and no-fault portions of your premium for three years. You may also be eligible to reduce your active point total on your DMV record by up to four points.
